Couple of daft questions
Watching 'The Lovers' last night, I realised I was never quite sure what Ulli actually did for a living. There was a fair bit of nudge-nudge humour directed her way, so do you reckon she actually was a masseuse, or did she work in a knocking shop? Also, going back to the opening credits when Oz is s...

Re: The Club from Episode 1 that featured Expose
We're talking about two bars here ... there's the bar which I imagine was near the site (the one with the pinball machine etc, featured heavily in Home Thoughts from Abroad, where Dennis made his 'Sundays were really boring when I was a kid' speech and Neville used the payphone to ring Brenda etc.)....

Bar from series 1
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I can't find any reference to it - does anyone know the location of the bar/club from series one? I mean the place with the pinball machine, jukebox and so on where the lads spent a lot of free time? Was it just a film set or did it actually exist somewher...

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
I was in the shower this morning when my 4-year-old knocked on the door looking for his little cousin, who's staying over. "Dad where's Adrian?" he said. "Well he's not in here with me," I shot back.
He never laughed at it neither, like.

Re: Bad acting? What bad acting?
The fella who played Helmut was generally good, apart from bouncing that football with exaggerated keenness and looking immensely slappable. But the Golden Raspberry really has to go to the godawful Douglas for his glacial delivery. "We ... live ... here ... (I go and make a cup of tea at this point...

They were pretty well-read fellas I think. 'Home Thoughts from Abroad' is a poem by Browning.

"How different from the home life of our own dear Queen"
Anyone know where this saying came from? At least I presume it's a quotation from somewhere as Wayne seems to utter it out of context (and out of character).
I suppose I could look it up on the internet, but where's the fun in that?

Re: Talking Pet In Real Life
My 4-year-old has grown up around Auf Pet, but until yesterday I didn't think he was taking much notice. Then for lunch I gave him some bread in hot chocolate, one of his favourite snacks which he hadn't had for a while, and he stunned me by casually saying, "this is a rare treat for me dad"! You've...

So it's looking good for Saint Barry then.
Mind you didn't Bomber say he was becoming more 'spirtual' in Arizona?
