Re: Filming in Redmile - May 14th 1985

I had a letter like this when I wrote in asking where the "Derbyshire" segments were filmed. Thought I had kept it but can't find it anywhere. Bugger....

Re: Barry - The Radish

Having recently watched "Somewhere At Sea" with Tim Spall, I liked the way he referred to himself as an adopted son of Newcastle, and he also refers to being a Radish.

Interesting to read all the differing perspectives on this show. Still not written it off entirely, but still not bought the next series.

Re: Location Vids.. So far..

Started watching the Sir James video today. You had just got to the actual house (about 31 mins) and it started buffering. Hate You Tube as we don't have a landline (hence no wi-fi) and can't watch them all way through. God knows why as BBCiplayer works fine! Anyway I can download the videos using t...

Re: Boon

Just finished watching Series 3, and to be honest found it a very patchy series in places, compared to the first two. Amanda Burton really doesn't add anything to the show and we found some of the storylines just plain silly. Don't know if I will bother getting the rest.

Re: Knipton

I have said this many times, and in no way is it putting any one down or slagging any one off. The Windmill in Redmile has not once replied to any Email I have sent. I know they have there reasons, but I have said to put it simply that we could fill there pub and till in one weekend every year for ...

Does anybody know how I could contact Tim or Shane Spall? It's regarding their series "Somewhere At Sea".

Re: Christopher Fairbank - Moxey does Edinburgh

Was there last week to see Texas and noticed that Moxey was next door. Would have loved to have seen it, but only there for couple of nights, and saw the poster on the second night. Typical!

Re: favourite character

Find it hard to believe that Oz is so far out in front in the poll and Dennis and Wayne are so far behind. Prefer both of those to Oz as I find them both far more sympathetic in character but everyone to their own I suppose.

Re: Peacock/Barley Mow August 2013

Its a shame they are just printed out screen grabs from the dvds. I would have a collection of those fantastic black an white ones, framed and hung in both bar and restaraunt area of the place. (With the photographers permission of course) Not the same owners now as when they filmed there. The orig...
