Re: Music played in the show.

Anyone know the instrumental tune playing in the wine bar when Oz first meets up with Rod in S3?

Re: Moxey's little dance

Strange how not everyone can see it. It is very brief - he kind of jumps up then waves his arms around, very bizarre. I seem to recall it's the same on the DVDs as on the VHS versions (why wouldn't it be?)

I wonder if the DVDs are like Wonka bars, and I have a golden ticket :D

Re: Private Lives

You're right boys, it is GOLD, but I have to knock off a carat or two due to the bloody contrivances. Same hotel as Dennis, same floor, same area of floor, same day, same time. I wish I could get over this and enjoy what is otherwise a masterpiece but I can't!

Re: A German's view

I studied German for four years in high school in the 80s and I understand almost every word (or at least I did back when I could remember the vocab). That tells me the dialogue was laughably oversimplified. I expect Ian and Dick wrote the German dialogue without help and probably had the same basic...

Re: The cosy hut episode....

I too liked the cozy scenes the best. B*llocks to Spain. Another fave is the start of The Girls They Left Behind while they're waiting for their money. I like the Manor and Barley Mow scenes for the same reason. When the lads are laid off and Wayne says "right, same again is it?" I imagine how good ...

Re: AWP

I listen on my phone more than I watch - in the car or when falling asleep at night. I can mentally see each scene as I hear it. Two eps I cannot listen to in bed: ROTS2 (police siren pulling Den over) and the one where Ally is playing the loop wire game ("feed them first!!! - beeeeeep") - these alw...

Re: DVD disappointment

It would be nice if Ian, Dick and Stan could be persuaded to sit down with a few tinnies and do a more prepared and insightful commentary on more S1 & 2 episodes if not all. Ian and Dick were totally unprepared on IIWAC and Scoop - what a waste.
