Re: How did you get into it?

A friend of mine at high school in 1983 (who incidentally died last year) told me that it was an awesome series. He likened Oz to another hard case in our class- who is incidentally English. I live in NZ.
Have been hooked since!!

Re: Recommend Me Something To Watch!

The original Goodbye Pork Pie. Very entertaining and unique. A good insight into NZ in the 1970's and lots of quirky stuff.
Sleeping Dogs is another excellent NZ classic (it helped launch Sam Neill).
Minor quibble squire but The Quiet Earth is a NZ movie( not Aussie).

These look like the weekly tariffs squire. Remember, lights out at 10 and no muddy boots or dirty overalls:  Note: * The rates include electricity to the value of 50 euros per week, any consumption in excess of this is metered and charged at cost. We require a security deposit of 500 euros ...

Re: Finest Performance Episode One

All brilliant, but my favourite lines have to come from Oz.
Oz: Pelicans, penguins and the Inland Revenue have all got one thing in common.
Dennis: What's that?
Oz: They can all shove their bills up their arse.

Re: livin in the 80's!

I remember watching Auf Pet on black and white tellie and recording the audio on a cassette recorder. Those were the days, the '80's. Today everything is too complicated.
