God that scene with Vera and Marjorie is so slow, it takes about five minutes for Vera to get the kids to bed and twice as long again for her to make Marjorie a cup of tea.

I don't think Rod Stewart is a Rodney, isn't he a Roderick?

The wives' wine bar scene hurts my eyes - the waiters orange uniforms, blue drinks, Marjorie's outfit and don't get me started on the décor.

There's an awful lot of scenes with the lads wandering around in their briefs, not saying if that's a good thing or a bad thing, just a thing.

Final thought: Brenda this and Brenda that, give it a break Nev.

Oh I don't like that episode. for some reason any reference to brenda and I'm turned off and all the return to Newcastle bits aren't needed. Of course there are decent moments in the episode but I often skip that one when I'm revisiting and I don't feel like I missed much

I like it but I always skip the Newcastle scenes. Apart from Oz going home.
