Watched the first episode of series 5 last nite and nearly threw up!
Horror stuff normally has no effect on me but the scene at the killing trough nearly made me spew. Did anyone else see it? VILE!!!

I saw it Lou. As you said, it was pretty gruesome scene to say the least. Even made the zombie scenes look tame. I thought the scene from season 4 where that girl killed her sister and then in turn got executed was horrific enough.

Just got through Season 4 which IMO is some of the best TV in years!
Thoroughly gripping some of the episodes, when Ricks hidden under the bed, brilliant heat pounding stuff! I loved how it all linked together, eventually.

Just started Season 5, cannae wait to bite into it!
See what I did there?

What I love about the show is the survival part. I think the show is great just on that part, the Zombies being something that makes it scary. I watch the scenes of people being ripped to shreds, faces being bitten and necks chewed off and just wonder how they did it, and how great the special effects team are.

Series 3 and them being in the prison was getting a bit stale, it needed a huge shake up, and I think the writing team have done a great job. I will be watching Series 5 episode 3 later, but I think the first 2 episodes have kind of brought the pressure back down. I just hope it picks back up to the edge of the seat stuff like it was in S4.

Watched episode one of new series last nite. It was good but not very gory. I think maybe they are starting to run out of ideas, stretching it out a bit long. Always the way with these American series now though, mind you breaking bad was ace!
Although I watched benidorm as well last nite, that's turned to shite the last few series too.

You're not kidding about Benidorm. Absolute garbage, just hope it doesn't return. Poor old Dennis having to resort to this toss.

Second part of this current series is a bit slow, just like Lou said before the Forum messed up.

Rick is now a proper psycho, and I'm not sure how it will end tomorrow. It needs to pick it back up again next series, and get them out of the complex they are in now.

I stayed up late to watch the season finale last night and what a bloody let down!
The writing this current series showing has been very poor, with very little happening. They kept saying the 'Season Finale' was going to be edge of your seat stuff, it wasn't.

Very let down, which is surprising as end of Season 4 was outstanding!

Think I might watch it later on. I agree it's been a real let down this series.
Nowhere near gory enough for me this time round. The previous series have all been much better, we watched them back to back sometimes because they were so good but been a bit of a flop this time. PL
Not enough zombie action! :?
