Not bothered before but my husbands set me up an account. Had a quick look and am now following mr wagstaff. Does anyone bother with this tweeting lark or is it a load of shite.

I dont tweet but it's an amazing tool for finding out what's going on in the world without a restricted flow of information. Why only today I used it to find out the identity of the celebrity with that superinjunction, whose name British media are not allowed to furnish us with... ;)

And no, you can tweet anyone at anytime. Just like Facebook they get a notification on their phone or as soon as they login....
