I love the Carry On films. Found a great link today that shows you the 'Now And Then' photos of the filming locations.

Great site :D

I too love the Carry Ons, the then and now pics are quality.

As much as I love them I always have a slight tinge on sadness that so many of the cast aren't with us anymore. I remember the documentary 'What's a Carry On?' on ITV maybe 10 years ago? It seems like yesterday that was on and there was a moving bit about the loss of the cast members. And since then, many of the talking heads have gone too: Patsy Rowlands, Wendy Richard, Norman Rossitor, Jack Douglas, Joan Sims, Peter Rogers. Makes you think....

Anyway, Carry on Abroad is my fave.

"Drink?"
"No thank you. I tried it once and didn't like it."
"Smoke?"
"I tried it once and didn't like it."
"Strange..."
"Not at all. My daughter is just the same."
"Your only child, I presume?"

Yak yak yak

They do get flack, but they are funny films.
Carry on Camping was on a few weeks ago, and I did find myself still laughing along. They are a great piece of English History, and me and my wife love watching them.....

Great clips Tim & Si :D

My personal favourite is Carry On Camping. I love 'At Your Convenience' as well - especially the scenes when Sid keeps winning money at the bookies thanks to the budgie who squeaks when Sid reads out the horses' names.

Even though it was intended for Rich, I watched it anyway :p

Classic from Convenience. Love the Bookie with the big cigar banning (well, limiting then) Sid after a while.

Good film that :)
