Did we ever find out why Oz and Dennis went to watch Sunderland in series 1?
Or more to the point why they didn't use Newcastle as the team playing Liege?
Brilliant brilliant series but it's one of the storylines that didn't quite ring true in that no Newcastle fans would go and watch their rivals, would they?
Just wondering if there was a back story to this.

All down to filming schedules Vs scripts. This episode was filmed first, in the original scripts they were Sunderland supporters, too late for any changes. Please tell everyone.

I believe Bomber switched teams as well. In series one, he says that [Bristol] City was always his team, but in the later series, he's wearing a Bristol Rovers top.
Or it might be the other way round.
