She came to where I was working, and as the Manager on duty I got to greet her. Just shook her hand and said welcome before she moved on

He was my MP when I still lived with my parents. One day he came to our village fete, where my stepmother, who lived in Spain for years before she married my Dad, was running a Spanish themed stall.

He bought a home made Spanish omelette but asked to leave it on the stall while he was walking round, the rest of the fete, and never came back for it. So I had it for my tea.

My other claim to fame is beating a Formula One World Champion in a race at Silverstone. Admittedly, it was a running race, but still.....
