Suzie Wong is putting photos on for you now.
I must say, looking at the photograph of Pat Roach's grave left me very moved with a lump in my throat. The one with 'Auf Wiedersehan Pat'. It makes you realise just how much he loved being associated with this show and how his family felt. Such a sad loss.

I remember when I was growing up in the seventies seeing Pat on World of Sport on a Saturday. If memory serves me right he came across at first as a bit of a bad guy, may be down to his size.

I do remember that when Auf Pet came on it all changed and the crowd was cheering him on as Pat 'Bomber' Roach.

It must be hard for writers to try to give seven main character a chance to shine in a 50 minute episode and I'm so glad that he got his episode, 'Home Thought's From Abroad'.

I'll raise a glass to you Pat.

I was in London at the weekend & dropped into The Warrington in Maida Vale W9 for a pint.
This was Gary's local & he was drinking in there on the night he unfortunately died.

The pub itself is wonderful. Completely untouched inside from when it was built.
It was also used in an episode of the TV series The Sweeney called 'Night Out'.

Sad news that Brenda Healey has died ( he played the football fan in the first series who asked Oz to cough up for a whip round for the pilot) was also in Spender and Badger.. As well as being a top comedian. RiP
