Most realistic character.

Been watching series 2 tonight (No Sex Please, We're Brickies). Seen it many times (like we all have) and when you have watched it so many times, you start studying the wallpaper, carpets and positions on the floor where they have to stand for the cameras to frame them correctly and so on.

But everytime Norma is on, I forget it's a television programme. She is so convincing, that I stop looking around the frames and start watching her as a character. I listen to her and believe she is REAL. So I will chose her as the most realistic character in series 2.

Does anyone wish to add their most realistic character?? :)

Ally. Played to perfection. He's like the Fifth Beatle.

Always thought you could tell Ally Frasier (Bill Patterson) was a cut above in the acting stakes than the rest. Played the part perfectly

I dont really pick and choose, for me all the cast as a team did an excellent job, yes there were a few stil learning like the bird Wayne tries to pull at Harry's Boozer but it all added to it for me..

I would say Ally in Spain is a great piece of acting.
In the UK episodes he's good, but in Spain when he loses it, he shines through and like you say, Bill Paterson does a great job of being the lovable but quite scary Ally.

Dennis for me. Gave up Dagmar, lost everything. Second time round with Vera has crashed. Stuck in a job he hates, in debt up to his eyes, living with his sister, knocking back the Scotch to dull the pain. Then just when he thinks it cant get any worse, life throws him a classic. He takes hold of it by the bollocks and grafts his way to a brighter future. Kismit kicks in and he winds up with Ally's 25K and Christine on his arm. Im sure many of us share some of Denny's misfortunes and can empathiyze, [?] reliving the agonies. So to see Tim Healey bring it all off to perfection is such a joy. Realistic ? You bet your sweet butty it is !!!

Very reminiscent of when Spitting Image used to show Sarah Ferguson spraying hers on through a colander.
