Shirley the Super Knitter!

I have to say a huge Thank You to Shirley and her husband Alistair for making the items for the Fan Gathering weekend. If you weren't there, and I will post pictures soon, Shirleys husband made a couple of signs for the event, the 'Thornely Manor' sign and 'Sunny View Guest House' sign, both of which were just spot on!

I am hoping to get down to Notts soon and take the signs to the spots which they graced on screen for some new location pictures for the site. I will be hanging on to the signs for a long time and taking them on journeys and to Fan Events, so divin't worry if you didn't see them, I'm sure you will one day!

Shirley also made us a 'Canny Jumper' as worn by Oz in 'The Lovers'
My original plan was to wear it on the night, but in the heat I might have beaten Peng50 by a pint of sweat (See other thread) if I had. Anyway, it went in the raffle and some lucky punter now has it!

Thanks for ALL efforts from the pollard household... shirley's husband looked scary in some pics in the past, but on meeting the chap he's as good as gold... Only thing i couldnt believe about Shirl was her height.. always thought she was taller for some reason.. its no bad thing though..
