Can't believe I'm going to be watching this episode back tonight on the lookout for a farting sound

Referring to the Hut fire, can't really believe that cagey old Dennis would go to the length of explaining the exact address of Dagmar's mothers apartment. Can't think of any other way the lads would know where she lived. Don't think Ullrich would have said anything, bit too much of a jobsworth.
Of course back in the day, before we all had mobiles, people's addresses could be found relatively easily because they were 'in the book'. This was easily accessed in major cities by popping into the nearest phone-box and merely looking them up.

In Heavy Metal, the lads are discussing what they're gonna call themselves. Dennis says about BMW being a great car but they've only got one vowel. Moxey asks Bomb what his real name is. Brian. Another B.
Why dint Mox refer to his first name, Albert? Even his second, Arthur? Even (most of) the other lads knew his first and middle names. There's two vowels right there. Hmmmm?
When Barry arrives on his bike, where are his tools? I can see a brickie surviving with a level, trowel, chisel and hammer of some kind, but can a sparky really fit all his essentials in a rucksack along with his spare pair of undies?
Kind of like what Bomber tells Colin: "Your bed don't take up much room, do it?"

What two Barry thing?
Sorry just noticed your question. Barry spraying his armpits in the hut and then another Barry walks into the hut with Neville. Biggest cock-up ever since Neville visited the brothel.
Bomber had presumably arrived before the other Lads. After all, Ulrich's letter specified only two more bricklayers, and Bomber knew enough about the huts for him and others to have nicknamed the Turks' hut "We calls it the Casbah".
So if, as Grunwald says, the hostel was "First Serve, First Come" and according to Dennis they would have been in the hostel if they'd been on time, why wasn't Bomber in the hostel?
And why did the Lads never get the opportunity to move into the hostel all the time they were in Germany? Did nobody leave?
